Thoughts

My aunti Brenda was more than family—she was a second home and a source of endless warmth. I spent almost every summer of my life with her, and in those moments, she became not just my auntie, but a safe place. She may not have seen herself as brave, but to me, she was a testament to the strength and resilience of a single mother overcoming the challenges of her time. Her attitude and way of life inspired me to face my own challenges with courage and perseverance and auntie Brenda will always give me inspiration and appreciation in life. She touched the lives of so many, always giving, always listening, always making people feel seen and loved. Her presence filled every room with warmth, and her absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled. Though she is gone, the love she gave and the memories she created will always remain. Rest in peace, dear Auntie Brenda. You will always be in my heart.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
